In 2006, Stacy moved to New York City to pursue a career in Modern Dance. After a year of dancing professionally, she found herself burnt out and exhausted.  That’s when she found Yoga, taking evening classes from her soon to be mentor, Jess Gronholm, the National Yoga Director for Crunch. Yoga gave her body and mind the energy, rest, quiet, and rejuvenation she needed.

Stacy completed her 500 hour certification through Yogaworks, and immediately began teaching there. She was soon hired at Crunch to help create and launch the Antigravity Yoga “Wings” program, and later co-created Lyrical Vinyasa. She went on to teach Aerial Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Power Yoga at gyms and studios throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. She fell in love with the idea that she could help others find the benefits of Yoga, that she had found for herself.
Stacy returned to her career in dance, hired by the Mark Morris Dance Group, but this time with more balance, and attention to her physical and emotional needs. She loves to teach a challenging class with strength building, attention to proper alignment, and a flow that can make students feel like they are dancing.
